UJUZI CRITERIA 2023 – 2024

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply to UJUZI for the 2023 - 2024 Mentorship Program:

Applying as an Individual:

Apply for this opportunity with your personal practice. Please note that collectives, groups, and organizations are not eligible for this application. However, individuals who are part of such entities and are applying with their own individual practices are encouraged to apply.

Kenyan Applicant:

Only Kenyan nationals are eligible to apply to UJUZI. Please be aware that only practitioners with Kenyan nationality are eligible for consideration for UJUZI 2023 - 2024.

Resident in Kenya:

You reside, live, and work in Kenya, and you are applying accordingly. It's important to note that individuals primarily living and working outside of Kenya are not eligible for this application.

Availability:

Participating artists are expected to stay at Untethered Magic during the designated Residency 1 period, scheduled from December 3 to December 9, 2023. It's important to note that mentors will interact with participating artists online during Residency 1, while Residencies 2 and 3 will include in-person interactions with the mentors.
